Think about it--if you really believe that immunization work then an unvaccinated child in your midst is not going to hurt the ones that are "protected" by your vaccines.
My youngest daughter had a VIOLENT reaction to the 1st whooping cough vaccine that she ever took. We just about lost her and her doctor told us that she should NEVER have another because he was afraid that the next time it would kill her. He gave us an exeption from the vaccine for her to attend school. The school officials told us that they didn't care what the doctor thought and that they would expel her from school if this wasn't brought up to date. To make a long story short, they expelled her from school and then expelled her sister from school because she was living in a home with someone that wasn't "protected". Little did they know that I was never vaccinated because all those years ago my parents didn't believe in it. What a great thing for us for our children to be expelled from school. It lead us down the road to home school our children and we couldn't be more thrilled. Our children are bright, happy, well adjusted kids that have had wonderful careers in college and their new professions.
Sometimes being expelled from school turns out to be a GREAT things.
