Researchers to Study Uranium Impacts on Navajo Children

The University of New Mexico and the federal government are launching a health study thirty years after uranium mines were shut down on the Navajo Nation. They plan to determine whether ongoing exposure to contaminated sites may be affecting pregnant women and children.
