Visa Overstays Present Challenge For Immigration Reform

Among the 11 million undocumented immigrants in this country, some 40 percent entered the U.S. legally with a temporary visa. But once they arrived, they decided to stay.

All visa holders are required to check in periodically with local immigration offices. If they do not check in, they are subject to deportation.
Therefore, the government is REQUIRED to deport those visa overstays and should have the FBI looking for them and arrest warrants issued! Why is this NOT being done????
