Critics Challenge Cal Fire's Massive Wildfire Mitigation Plan

We invited officials with the California Department of Forestry and local officials with CalFire who are promoting the Vegetation Treatment plan to be interviewed but after agreeing to be on the program, they were not able to join us today. We are hoping to have them on with us tomorrow.

Mr. Halsey doesn't sound so much like a critic as a collaborator. But what's this nonsense about the government people not being able to come today so they will come tomorrow? KPBS, please don't put them on. I've seen that before. That is a nasty, cheating, middle management method of having the last word. It sounds like they do not want to discuss or collaborate, they want to protect their petty little bureaucratic fiefdoms and prerogatives.
