Clinton or Obama: How To Choose?
My friend Jessica just sent me to Rebecca Traister's brilliant article today in Salon, where she writes so well of the difficulty choosing between Clinton or Obama. It's a must read for anyone - particularly women - struggling with their choice hours before Super Tuesday. It's like Traister crawled into my head, gathered up all of my anxieties, made sense of so much, added nuance and reflection, and eloquently wrote it all down. I have so many friends who feel the same about their vote tomorrow.
This is the toughest voting decision I've had to make so far -- and the most inspiring. Choosing between a woman and an African-American man. Months into the campaign, I still think, "wow, these are my choices." I'm tortured for many reasons about my vote, but so grateful that we are at this juncture.
