Send directions from Google Maps to your phone
You can send a place you find on Google Maps using your computer to your phone, tablet, or car. Note: The “Send to car” feature is only available for participating car manufacturers like MINI and Toyota.
1. Select "view a larger map" above in upper left corner of map.
2. Make sure you’re signed in to the same account on:
Google Maps on your computer.
Google Maps app on your phone or tablet.
If you’re asked to turn on notifications, touch Turn on notifications.
3. Below the search box, select "Send to your phone."
4. Choose the phone or tablet you want to send the place to. If you don't have a device listed, you can still send the place to your device by email or text message.
To send an email, choose Email.
To send a text message, choose Text > Send.
You’ll get a notification on your phone or tablet about KPBS.
Note: If you're using Maps in Lite mode, you won't be able to send a place to your mobile device.
From Montezuma Road
Turn left on 55th Street and right onto Lindo Paseo. Enter Parking Structure 6 (PS 6) mid-way up the block on your left. Park in either a F/S or SP800 space and exit the structure to the southeast. Proceed along Lindo Paseo to the KPBS lobby at the corner of Campanile Drive and Lindo Paseo.
From College Avenue
Note: Lindo Paseo is temporarily closed due to construction. From College Avenue, turn right on Montezuma Road, and then turn right again on Campanile Drive. Turn left at Hardy Avenue and proceed to Parking Structure 6 (PS 6) entrance mid-way up the block. Park in either a F/S or SP800 space and exit the structure to the southeast. Proceed along Lindo Paseo to the KPBS lobby at the corner of Campanile Drive and Lindo Paseo.
SP800 & F/S parking permits can be obtained from the KPBS front lobby receptionists. Guest parking with a valid permit is available in the 5 Lot and Parking Structure 6 (PS 6) directly behind the KPBS building. If parking in the 5 Lot, park in spaces labeled SP800. If parking in PS 6, park in any F/S labeled space.
To park in an SDSU paid lot, including the 6B Lot (located behind PS 6) and PS 7, the cost is $2 per hour. You can purchase a permit for the desired number of hours of parking from the yellow permit dispensers positioned on each level.
PERMITS MUST BE CLEARLY DISPLAYED ON YOUR DASHBOARD.
Not doing so may result in a parking citation from the University.
