THE SAN DIEGO SHAKESPEARE SOCIETY HOSTS THE ANNUAL “FESTIVE FEAST:”

Each year, The San Diego Shakespeare Society presents an evening of fun, food, and games, all with an Elizabethan flavor. The 2009 feast takes place in the fabulous Tiki Pavilion of the Town and Country Resort. (All right, it’s not exactly Elizabethan, but it’s an awful lot of fun!) This hotel complex, conveniently located in Mission Valley, has been a San Diego landmark for over 50 years.

The festivities commence at 6:00 pm. We’ll have games as well as gorgeous Christmas music provided by the Renaissance choral group Vox Nobili (sumptuously costumed for the event!).

And, of course, there’s the food. This year, we start off with a variety of salads and then it’s on to the carving station, where you’ll find honey-glazed ham, a steamship round of beef, rosemary potatoes, and a winter vegetable medley. And there’s also a holiday dessert!

Tickets are $55.00 per person (includes tax, tip, and a glass of wine), with discounted parking at $4.00 per car.
