THIS EVENT IS IN THE PAST!
MFA Thesis Exhibition
My new body of work, entitled ‘twofold’, is a line of folding furniture inspired by origami that is simultaneously wall art and functional furniture. It's made with sustainably harvested plywood, designed on the computer, and cut with a laser cutter.
Please join me for the opening reception of ‘twofold’ in the Flor Y Canto gallery at San Diego State University on December 5th from 6-9pm. The exhibit will be on display December 6-10 from 10am-3pm.
A preview of some of the work is also up on the website and don’t forget to check out the videos of my folding furniture in action!
The gallery is hard to find, so make sure you print off driving directions.
Parking is free the night of the opening, pay parking is available the following week during gallery hours.
