Head on out to Lake Poway for a summer evening of classic 50’s rock. The Target Summer Concert in the Park Series will feature The Stilettos on Sunday, July 12, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This rockabilly and swing band represents a generation of music that changed the world, and more importantly rock and roll. From rocking drums to stand-up slappin’ bass this band will move you through rock guitar to some clean country Tennessee twang. So grad your favorite picnic blanket, lawn chairs, picnic dinner and head on out to some good old fashioned summer fun at Lake Poway.
There is a $5 non-resident parking fee before 7:30 p.m. Shuttle services will be provided from Poway High School beginning at 4 p.m.
Donations by local Target stores, Marrokal Construction Company, and Country Montessori School make this free venue possible.
