This Thursday, July 16, the Numero Water Boutique will debut the first of its in-store cultural classes. Join Nikkibana design studio at the Numero Water Boutique for modern wabi sabi creative flower design sessions, held every Thursday from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Don’t miss the chance to create unique and exotic floral designs using only the freshest products. Guests pay $15, plus the cost of flowers, to design their own original Ikebana creation to be used as décor in the home and office, or given as a unique gift for any occasion.

What is ikebana? Ikebana (生花, “arranged flower”) is the Japanese art of flower arrangement, often emphasizing other areas of the plant, such as its stems and leaves, and draws emphasis towards shape, line, and form. More than simply putting flowers in a container, ikebana is a disciplined art form in which nature and humanity are brought together.

Numero Water Boutique is located at 1660 India Street, San Diego, CA 92101.
