An Evening with Ambassador Fujisaki
His Excellency Ichiro Fujisaki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the United States of America, will visit San Diego for the first time since his appointment.
The Japan Society welcomes Ambassador Ichiro Fujisaki to San Diego and invites those interested in learning about the future of the United States-Japan relationship to a reception, full course dinner, and presentation. At a time of change not only in the US, but globally as well, Fujisaki’s presentation is applicable to those affected by the political and economic decisions between these two great nations.

Appointed ambassador in June 2008, Fujisaki’s distinguished career brings knowledge and experience to strengthen the relationship between the US and Japan. Educated at Keio University in Tokyo, Brown University and Stanford University, Fujisaki’s career is highlighted by his positions as Minister in the Embassy of Japan in Washington, D.C., Director-General of the North American Affairs Bureau, Japan’s Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs.
The Japan Society of San Diego and Tijuana (JSSDT) was formed in 1996.
