Go Beyond Basics At Author's Day Celebration With Richard lederer

Bestselling author Richard Lederer will appear at a free National Authors’ Day event, “Beyond the Basics: Advice To Struggling Authors” on Saturday, November 7, presented by North County Authors and Poets (NCAP). The celebration starts at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. at the Oceanside Public Library’s Civic Center Library Community Room, at 330 North Coast Highway. Get Directions (MapQuest)

Lederer, who has written 30 books, will speak on “Reinventing One’s Writing Career”. Caitlin Victoria Featherstone, Dr. Edith Jonsson-Devillers and Megan Webster will also speak on non-fiction, plotting and translation. More than 25 other authors and poets, plus publishers and editors, will offer insights into everything from short stories to books on how to write books.
