Diana Lindsay, author of "Marshal South and the Ghost Mountain Chronicles" and "Anza-Borrego A to Z: People, Places, and Things," will be presenting "the Indian Use of Local Desert Plants" at Cuyamaca College's Water Conservation Garden.
Using PowerPoint slides and plant material, historian Lindsay will demonstrate how some of the local plants were prepared by California's native Indians.
Copies of "Marshal South and the Ghost Mountain Chronicles" will also be available for purchase.
