Join Escondido author Eric Peterson in celebrating the launch of his novel "Life as a Sandwich," on Thursday, October 15th. The launch party will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 PM in the Lyric Courtyard of the California Center for the Arts in Escondido, California.
"Life as a Sandwich" is Peterson’s first book, clearly influenced by his past in venture capital and software development. It’s set in San Diego, on the verge of the millennium, when the California economy was booming. Wallace Noe and his wife, Hannah, are card-carrying members of the Sandwich generation—squeezed between raising children and looking after an elderly parent—struggling to make ends meet, and to keep their marriage together. Desperate, Wallace stakes everything on a start-up company, never imagining the sequence of events that will shatter his comfortable world.
Guests of the launch party, a Mexican fiesta featuring food and refreshments, are asked to RSVP by calling (760) 738-2040, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
The following day, Peterson will participate in the San Diego County Library’s “Page One: Celebration of the Written Word” event, the County’s first annual book fair. Peterson will be discussing and signing copies of his book at the Bonita branch of the County Library at 4:00 PM. Get Directions (Google Maps)
