The Escondido Humane Society’s 16th annual Tails at Twilight Gala is Saturday, Oct. 17, at Orfila Vineyards and Winery, 13455 San Pasqual Road, Escondido.
This year's theme, Fall in Love, will celebrate the fall season and the love shared between people and their pets. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are invited to join their owners at the event. VIP reception is from 4 to 5 p.m.; general registration begins at 5 p.m. Dinner, a live auction and entertainment is from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Cost: VIP tickets are $200 per person or $2,000 for a table for 10; regular tickets are $100 per person or $1,000 for a table for 10.
