Meet the Author Series- Friends of the Encinitas Library welcomes you on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 6:30 p.m., to meet Deana Gunn.

Deana Gunn is the co-author of the original, independent cookbooks for Trader Joe's fans, "Cooking with All Things Trader Joe's" and "The Trader Joe's Companion." Cooking easy meals at home is more relevant than ever, and Trader Joe's is still the best place for great gourmet bargains and clever shortcuts. Deana will talk about the inspiration behind her Trader Joe's cookbooks and the advantages of combining fresh ingredients with Trader Joe's prepped items to create healthy, home-cooked gourmet meals in a snap. She'll share her favorite must-have Trader Joe's products and cooking tips, and she will demo and sample a couple of her popular recipes.
