Above: Image of childrens' singer and performer, Buck Howdy.
Buck Howdy has been described as a cross between cowboy singing star Roy Rogers, TV’s Mr. Rogers, and the legendary humorist Will Rogers. And while there's a nugget of truth of truth to that, it misses the obvious—Buck is simply an overgrown kid with an over-sized talent for entertaining. That's why his performances and releases garner rave reviews and honors including a 2010 Grammy Award, four Grammy Award nominations, Emmy Awards, a Notable Children's Recording Award from the American Library Association and being named to NPR's Top Ten list of kids' CDs. Bring a blanket or chair to sit.
FREE with admission or membership to the Gardens.
