Labour of Love is the one and only UB40 Tribute Band in the USA! It’s members have many years of experience playing in established original and tribute bands including SLightly Stoopid, Eek-a-Mouse, The English Beat, The Itals, 40OZ to Freedom, The Cured, and Safety Orange.
Based in San Diego, CA, the group originally formed July 2009, but have since had a few member changes and really got things rollin' early 2010. The group is even recommended on the Official UB40 Myspace page.
Shoreline Rootz is an original 11pc. Rootz/Rock/Reggae band based out of Encinitas, California. Although not a Bob Marley Tribute band, they jumped on the offer to do this show. The smokey sounding vocals of Ryan Thorpes is truly amazing &, his looks and stage presence will remind you of Bob himself. With HUGE horn lines, female backing vocals, & a strong percussion section, this is sure to be a KNOCK OUT PERFORMANCE!
