Instructor Sharon Hinckley is fluent in the language of water color. How do you make clear beautiful washes instead of murky, muddy ones? Which colors are better suited to Watercolor than oil or acrylic? In fact, how do you make the pigments sing? Timing, timing, timing - when to paint and when to STOP.

Whether you are a brand new student, returning to Watercolor, or switching from another medium, this workshop will help you identify areas of strength and give you fresh approaches to areas that may be overlooked or unfamiliar.

In this 2-day workshop, the focus will be primarily on color, color, color as well as design and composition. Topics will include but not be limited to: pigment selection, palette arrangement, choice of subject matter and basic arrangement. Materials list provided upon registration. Come join for the two part class taking place on Tuesdays, December 7th & 14th 6p.m. – 9p.m.

Costs:
$74 member and $86 non-member
