Basic Skills: Color Theory For Painters

Before you start to paint, learn how color works by mixing swatches. Join instructor Anna Stump at the Bravo School of Art and learn to paint a grayscale gradient, color wheel, mix complimentary colors, and create a chart of tints and shades.

Please bring watercolor paper or bristol pad, brushes, gouache, acrylics or oil paint. If using oils, please bring linseed oil and turpenoid, gessoed paper or canvas boards.

Colors needed: white, black, magenta, yellow, and cyan (or bring what you have).
