Construct a “hen” basket using reed and natural materials found in Southern California, as well as yarns or jutes to add a touch of color with instructor Carol Lang at the Bravo School of Art on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
This Appalachian rib-style basket was originally designed to carry a broody hen to market, and is remarkably strong. It can be made in a variety of sizes. All materials will be provided. Beginner to advanced levels welcome. Bring a snack or lunch.
