San Diego’s independent booksellers invite you to attend this very special event with the author of the 2010 One Book One San Diego selection, Warren St. John.
Your $25 ticket includes a donation to the One Book One San Diego program, as well as a glass of wine and hors d’oeuvres to enjoy while meeting with refugees who have relocated to San Diego. Hear their stories, and talk with representatives from the International Rescue Committee about life as a refugee and the assimilation process.
Author Warren St. John will lead a discussion and sign copies of his book "Outcasts United", which may be ordered with your tickets from any of the bookstores below, and will also be available at the event.
