64° OvercastCalifornia Native Plant Society hosts "The El Monte Valley Project" (pdf) by Tim Smith of the Helix Water District. He will be explaining the vision of the water project known as the El Monte Valley Project.
The project has 3 components, producing purified water, riverbed and habitat restoration and surface/sand mining. Come learn all about it, Tuesday, January 18th, 2010 at 7p.m. Come at 6:30p.m. for a "Natives for Novices" program about the "Rain Garden." Go ahead and call 619-282-8687 for more information.
