Third Wednesday Meet the Author Series - Friends of the Encinitas Library

Wednesday, January 20, 2010 • 6:30pm

A journey of self-discovery unfolds as a woman travels with her adult daughters to the Galapagos to see natural selection in action. Her memoir of family bonding is set amongst giant tortoises, salt-crested marine iguanas, and crimson-throated Magnificent Frigatebirds; Bette will read from her new book and show slides from her Galápagos Journey.

Free to the public. Additional parking available at City Hall, west of the library.
