Farrell Family Jazz returns to the Music Room of the Athenaeum for the library’s annual summer jazz series.
The four-part series concludes on Thursday, July 22, with the Gerald Clayton Trio, featuring pianist Clayton with Joe Sanders on bass and Justin Brown on drums. Gerald Clayton made his Athenaeum debut in 2006 in the company of Willie Jones III and Gilbert Castellanos. Son of bass legen John Clayton, Gerald was recognized earlier this year with a Grammy nomination in the Best Improvised Jazz Solo category for his recent trio CD, "Two-Shade."
