'A Hard Day's Night' At MoPA

POP Thursdays Presents "A Hard Day's Night" on Thursday, July 22. The event begins at 7:00 p.m. and the film begins at 8:00 p.m.

POP Thursdays at MoPA is proud to present a screening of "A Hard Day’s Night", a classic comedy adventure captured at the height of Beatlemania. Directed by Richard Lester, "A Hard Day’s Night" chronicles a “typical” day in the lives of Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Star.

Join us in the theater to take in this freewheeling mockumentary on the big screen or lounge at the bar and watch the film projected on the walls of the Atrium. Enjoy live music by Rafter, funky Brit pop grooves by DJ Rob Moran and era-inspired activities as we relive the golden days of rock ‘n’ roll.

The galleries will be open to view the most buzzed about show of the summer, Taking Aim: Unforgettable Rock ‘n’ Roll Photographs Selected by Graham Nash.

Cost: Free to MoPA Members, $6 Students, $8 General. To reserve your tickets, click here.

The Museum of Photographic Arts is located at 1649 El Prado San Diego in Balboa Park.
