On Sunday July 25, Belly Up Tavern will be blowing up with good vibes and reggae from multiple coasts.
Originating from Wellington, New Zealand, The Black Seeds have carved out their reputation through platinum selling albums, a masterful 8-piece live show, and a unique sound that fuses infectious grooves and melodies with undiluted roots music.
Stick Figure possesses a unique style of music that combines a creative blend of upbeat roots reggae with the reverberating echoes of dub. Stick Figure’s music is written, produced, and recorded by lead singer, Scott Woodruff.
At an early age, Scott became fascinated with the art of music and began playing the drums. Eventually, his passion for music grew and he acquired the skills to play the guitar, bass, keyboards, sing and produce all his own music. All of Stick Figure’s songs are made by recording each instrument separately, layering several tracks on top of one another in unison.
The Hold Up will also be opening for the main act. Doors open 7 p.m. show starts at 8 p.m.
