Lux Art Institute, the first LEED-certified art museum in San Diego County, will host its monthly Lux@Night – a free evening of art, wine, live music and merriment – on Wednesday, June 16 from 7 to 9 p.m.
For the upcoming Lux@Night, Lux is proud to present San Diego indie rock band, Writer, in a special, live performance.
J & K Souvenir Inc., Lux’s latest store project conceived and created by two of San Diego’s most recognized artists Jean Lowe and Kim MacConnel, will also be open for business during the Lux@Night event. The retail installation features a finely edited collection of distinctive, handcrafted goods that illustrate the tension between the mass-produced and the aggressively handmade.
Lux@Night is sponsored by Supervisor Pam Slater-Price and the County of San Diego.
Lux@Night is a 21 and over event, and there is a $5 suggested donation.
Parking is available in the Sanderling-Waldorf School parking lot and in posted parking zones along El Camino Real.
