To further explore the opportunities social media provides for companies and brands and learn how to harness the power of social media, Nuffer, Smith, Tucker and San Diego State University – College of Extended Studies have created the "Social Media in the Workplace" seminar.

This program is designed to help HR professionals and business leaders understand how social media is impacting their organizations. It will also help attendees learn how companies can harness the power of social media to improve their operations.

The speakers will reference case studies of companies that are effectively embracing social media. They include Rebecca Coates-Nee, lecturer in the SDSU School of Journalism & Media Studies; Bill Trumpfheller, president of Nuffer, Smith, Tucker; and Teresa Siles, account supervisor for Nuffer, Smith, Tucker.
