California Native Plant Society Meeting: The Hunt for San Diego Thornmint
California Native Plant Society (CNPS) will present "A conservation puzzle: The hunt for San Diego Thornmint," at the next chapter meeting on March 16, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. Learn about this unique plant, how to find it and how to conserve it. Looking for volunteers for the hunt!
Join us before the meeting for the "Natives for Novices" program at 6:30 p.m. "Natives for Novices" are mini workshops before each Chapter Meeting.
Chapter Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. Room 101 or 104, Casa del Prado, Balboa Park. At 7 p.m. you can visit our sales table, get your mystery plant identified or enjoy a snack and chat with other plant lovers. We usually carry a small selection of native plants at our monthly meetings.
Directions & Parking:
Take Hwy 163 South to Park Blvd Exit. Turn left at Park Blvd and the left onto Village Place. The closest parking would be the Carousel/Spanish Village lot or the lot adjacent to the Natural History Museum. You can also take the Balboa Park Tram to the Prado stop and walk east along the Prado to the Casa.
