Participate in a family-friendly and educational day at the San Diego Air & Space Museum, enjoying hands-on experiences while gaining insight into the science of flight by creating many fun types of paper airplanes.
During the Paper Airplane Festival, people of all ages can engage in hands-on activities, competitions and participate in the mass launch at the end of the festival. Attendees can learn to fold many different types of space-themed paper airplanes and enter into competitions which include farthest flight distance, longest air time, and flight accuracy.
Food will be available for purchase from Flight Path Cafe on the Museum's back patio. Make sure to stay for the group launch in front of the Museum at 3 p.m.
Up to four kids, 17 & under, receive FREE admission with a paid adult admission (this does not include special exhibitions). You can sign up for the adult admission discount coupon on the San Diego Air & Space Museum's web site.
