Exploring Ethics: "Are Vaccines Really Safe?"

In conjunction with the Center for Ethics in Science and Technology, the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center welcomes guests to encounter science from an ethical viewpoint.

Exploring Ethics is held on the first Wednesday of each month, this ongoing series brings together community leaders of various backgrounds to examine current scientific issues from diverse perspectives. Bring your own questions and join in the discussion!

This edition of Exploring Ethics addresses the ethical questions behind vaccinations' safety. All sides of the argument will be discussed by panelists Ed Morgan and Eric Courchesne. Ed Morgan PhD. is a vaccine expert at the BioScience Center at San Diego State University. Eric Courchesne, PhD. is the Director of the Center for Excellence in Autism at UCSD. The discussion will be moderated by Stanley Maloy, PhD., Associate Director for the Center of Microbial Sciences at San Diego State University.
