Art History Lecture- "Historic Cities of France" with James Grebl, Ph.D.
Art historian James Grebl, Ph.D., will explore the history and culture of France, one of Europe’s most beautiful and architecturally rich countries, in a series of three lavishly illustrated lectures featuring the historic cities of Marseilles, Paris, Arles, Nimes, Orange, Valois, Dijon, Angers, Bourges, Reims, and Avignon.
Dr. Grebl will highlight their town plans as well as significant monuments and buildings, placing them in their historical, social and artistic contexts.
