Held the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. in the Fleet Science Center’s Heikoff Dome Theater, “The Sky Tonight” presents the sky in San Diego as it appears on the night of the planetarium show as well as special topics in astronomy.
On November 3, 2010 come gaze at the star (/planet) of the night, Jupiter, in the dome during this months edition of "The Sky Tonight."
For optimal viewing, tickets to the planetarium show are limited to 250 patrons. Avoid sold out shows by purchasing tickets online.
Members may make advance reservations* by calling 619-238-1233 ext. 810. Tickets for “The Sky Tonight” include a visit to the Exhibit Galleries. It is recommended that all others arrive at the Science Center by 6:30 p.m. to purchase tickets.
Member reservations for IMAX and planetarium shows must be claimed at least 20 minutes before show time; always allow extra time for parking. Reservations not claimed 20 minutes in advance may be released for sale to the general public.
