The B HERE campaign, a national initiative to raise awareness of hepatitis B in Asian American communities, is coming to UC San Diego with two exciting events on November 8, 2010.
First, view a multimedia art exhibit showcasing different perspectives on hepatitis B and how it disproportionately affects Asian Americans. Then, attend an evening of live entertainment emceed by Kollaboration’s Paul “PK” Kim and featuring performances by up-and-coming dance, music and comedy acts including dance groups Quest Crew and Kaba Modern, who have been featured on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew, and singer/songwriters Joseph Vincent, Clara C., Jennifer Chung and Paul Dateh.
Event details:
• Art Exhibit: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Price Center West Ballroom
• Live Performances: Doors open at 6 p.m., Performance from 7 – 9 p.m.; Mandeville Auditorium
Both events are FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC – but you must attend the art exhibit in order to receive a pass to the live performances.
