He has won virtually every major award that exists: three Oscar awards; four Grammy awards; three Emmy awards; an Antoinette Perry Award (Tony award), three Golden Globe awards and the Pulitzer Prize. The composer of the musicals "A Chorus Line," "They’re Playing Our Song," "The Goodbye Girl," and "Sweet Smell of Success" and films including "The Way We Were", "The Sting", "Sophie’s Choice," "Ice Castles", "Bananas," and the 2009 release "The Informant" starring Matt Damon, Mr. Hamlisch is available a solo artist or conductor and is also available for corporate and fundraising events.
