Works of art by renowned watercolorist and calligrapher, South African Grace Phillips, will begin a 3-month exhibition of her personal art collection on October 5, 2010 through January 4, 2011 at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.
The former South African artist and current 20 year San Diego resident is now stricken with Alzheimer’s. 25% of all art sold at the cocktail event and throughout the length of the exhibition, will benefit Scripps La Jolla’s patient care programs and Alzheimer’s. Raffle and Door prizes will be available to encourage high bids for the Silent Art Auction.
A short overview of the power of our olfactory senses will be presented by Sue Phillips, noted International fragrance expert who developed TIFFANY perfume, daughter of the artist, and Fragrance Editor of Glow Beauty Magazine.
