HOPE In The Park

We invite you to join join us as a Champion of HOPE at HOPE in the Park. The event will take place in Balboa Park between Laurel Street and 6th Avenue from 2-9 p.m. This will be a community-wide event with outreach to assist families in need during this difficult economic time.
The event will offer a host of activities for everyone, including resources and information for parents, teenagers, caregivers, educators and community leaders.
The day will begin with the entire San Diego community engaging in Regional Walks throughout the County, honoring those who have lost their live to family violence. All regions will come together and meet in Balboa Park to spend a day together—laughing and playing, creating positive interactions and building community resources. We will end the day with a candle light vigil sending a resounding call of action to our community to prevent future violence.
