We are the first theater in the U.S to offer Spanish IMAX Films every month! This unique IMAX Experience takes place inside the Fleet Science Center’s recently renovated Heikoff Dome Theater, which features the world’s first NanoSeam™ Dome screen in an IMAX theater, allowing for sharper brighter colors and higher-contrast images. The theater also boasts a new 16,000-watt digital surround sound system and more comfortable seating.
IMAX EN ESPAÑOL will take place at 6 p.m. on the third Sunday of every month and will feature a rotating schedule of IMAX films. IMAX EN ESPAÑOL is an opportunity for the Hispanic community in San Diego to enjoy IMAX films in Spanish.
On October 17, 2010 come see "Bears" on the IMAX Screen.
