Scary Global Threats Forum & Costume Contest

UC Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation presents a public panel discussion, "Scary Global Threats" with UC San Diego faculty about global threats of today (terrorism, nuclear proliferation, climate change, biological threats, etc.) on Oct. 29, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. There will also be a costume contest with the theme, “Global Threats.”

A panel of UC San Diego faculty will take a Halloween-themed look at the global threats of today and reflect on how—or if—they have changed since UC San Diego was founded in 1960. It is FREE and open to all public. Refreshments will be provided.
