Tapestry Weaving Class

Instructor Lauren Becker Downey teaches the basics of traditional tapestry as you explore a variety of joining techniques and the possibilities of making images with yarn. Tapestry is a weft-faced weaving and you will learn exactly what that means. Practice on a frame loom which is yours to keep. Please bring a dinner fork, a hammer and scissors. The 3 classes take place Fridays, March 18, 25 & April 1 2011 1 – 4p.m.
