Guitarist and producer Peter Sprague brings his Latin Jazz Quartet to Oceanside Museum of Art for the next 333’s Jazz at the Museum concert series. The group will play songs from the Jobim songbook along with other classic Brazilian tunes.
Vocalist Kevyn Lettau will share some of the music she sang with the Sergio Mendes Brazil 2000 band. The evening begins with tasty appetizers from 333 Pacific restaurant and a variety of wines at 7p.m. 333 Pacific has partnered with the museum to present a swinging jazz concert series paired with gourmet appetizers, desserts and specialty wines.
In addition to the concert, guests will have the opportunity to view the exhibitions, Botanicals: The Photography of Imogen Cunningham, Looking for a Miracle? Italo Scanga, Combs from Asia, Africa and Oceania and Islands of Color: Polynesian Quilts. The show takes place April 14th, 2011 at 7p.m.
