Encaustic medium and melted beeswax is a very interesting and enchanting way to create simple yet beautiful art. Sometimes even the slightest drawing or art image under layers of refined beeswax will yield wondrous and compelling finished work.
This is in introduction to painting with molten wax. Learn basic skills in using encaustic medium, fusing, use of pigmented wax, incising and polishing. The class takes place on Saturday and Sunday, April 16th & 17th 2011 at 10a.m. – 3p.m. Register online.
