THIS EVENT IS IN THE PAST!
Cooking Classes With The Opera Singing Chef Elizabeth
Above: San Diego Botanic Garden Entrance Sign: Open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., located at 230 Quail Gardens Drive.
Chef Elizabeth is an avid “griller,” using different woods to infuse flavor. Join her as she shares her recipes for a Smokey and Spicy Baba Ganoush Hummus made with roasted eggplants, onions, and peppers; Apple Smoked Lamb Chops with pressure-cooked applesauce and cranberries; and Cinnamon Cured and Cherry Wood Smoked Chicken Breast with cherry BBQ sauce.
Register by August 3, 2011. Chef Elizabeth welcomes walk-ins to her classes. So, if you can’t make up your mind until the day before, please don’t hesitate to come. There is always enough for one more. Recipes and tastings will be offered for each dish.
Much of who she is today shines through during her cooking classes where chef Elizabeth shares her “small town” wisdom on life, love and music with the people of San Diego where she lives with her husband, daughter and two dogs.
