Give voice and sculptural form to a Mermaid, Goddess or Angel while drawing upon the power of the archetypal feminine. Design a pattern or use one provided. Cut your shape out of thin, colorful thin-gauge copper or brass that’s been ‘heat-painted’ by the instructor with torch, flux and silver.
Or, chemically color your metal in class. Hammer, emboss, punch and stamp to add texture and detail; bend and fold metal into 3-D form, forge, fringe, or ruffle the edges, cold-connect shapes and add linear movement with wires you twist, coil, spiral, bend, and sew. Add a bright glass bead necklace or other adornments and make a brass spiral hook.
Instructor Sharon K Novak.
All materials and tools are provided and no experience is necessary!
