Join Women’s Museum of California (formerly the Women’s History Museum) in Suffrage outfits to march across the Laurel Street Bridge in celebration of 100 years of voting rights for California women. Speakers, banners, signs, drumming, vintage cars, historic women on horse back are all part of the 100th anniversary celebration plans.
Meet at Kate Sessions Statue at 4:45 p.m. (6th Ave., at Laurel Street Bridge), Balboa Park (Google Map). March across the Laurel Street bridge to the Spreckles Organ Pavillion. Stay for the free concert and picnic on the lawn.
