Celebrating 34 years of holiday spirit, the holiday season kicks off in Balboa Park with lights, food, music and fun in the largest free community festival in San Diego, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM both evenings.
Balboa Park’s holiday gift to San Diego features free admission to museums and cultural attractions, international foods, multicultural music and dance performances, carolers, bell-ringers, choirs and bands, along with a variety of holiday-themed areas.
December Nights at the Fleet includes Fun for All Ages with 100+ hands-on exhibits; discounted IMAX screenings after 5:00 PM; festive fare at Galileo’s Holiday Eats, and stellar holiday shopping at the North Star Science Store!
The Reuben H. Fleet Science Center will be open 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM on December 2, 2011 and December 3, 2011. Regular admission prices apply until 5:00 PM each day. Starting at 5:00 PM, exhibit gallery admission is free. Plus, starting at 5:00 PM each night, you can experience a giant-screen film in our Heikoff Dome Theater for the discounted price of $9.50.
