Now in its 44th year, California Ballet Company is proud to present the largest and longest running production of "The Nutcracker" to San Diego audiences. Countless families have enjoyed this holiday tradition since California Ballet’s premiere.
A wonderful ballet for the entire family, "The Nutcracker" is the perfect way to introduce young children to the power and beauty of classical dance. Tchaikovsky’s magical score and Maxine Mahon’s dazzling theatrical staging combine to create a memorable event.
The play will be held at the San Diego Civic Theatre throughout the month of December 2011. Ticket prices range from $25 to $80 for adults, and 25% discount for children 12 and under (excluding $25 seats and $80 Gold Rope).
The San Diego Symphony will accompany all performances under the direction of California Ballet Music Director John Stubbs.
