This year marks the 150th anniversary of the onset of the American Civil War, and the SDSU Library is commemorating the sesquicentennial with an exhibit titled "Echoes of the War: The Civil War Sesquicentennial." The exhibit contains original diaries, letters, documents, and photographs that highlight soldiers' everyday lives and their sometimes-conflicted feelings about the causes of the war.
"Echoes of the War" runs through May 24, 2011, in the library's Donor Hall. For hours of operation, visit infodome.sdsu.edu. For more information, call (619) 594-6791.
