Through The Eyes Of An Artist At The San Diego Botanic Garden

In celebration of "Sculpture in the Garden" we are planning a day filled with sculpture-related topics on February 12th, 2011. There will be hourly tours of the sculptures 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. with music provided by Willowood.

Panel Discussions: Recognizing the Value of Art in the Garden

Session One: 11a.m. – 12 noon
Artists: Alber de Matteis and Charles Bronson
Garden Designers: Debra Lee Baldwin and Patrick Anderson

Session Two: 2p.m. – 3p.m.
Artists: Becky Guttin and Cheryl Tall
Garden Designers: Peter Jones and Bobbi Hirschkoff

And for kids (and the young at heart) 11a.m. - 2p.m. you can make a community sculpture using recycled material, inspired by Rodney McCoubrey of Rodrigo’s Recycled Art.
